Chandrapuram Ponnusamy Radhakrishnan (born May 4, 1957) is the 15th Vice President of India, assuming office on September 12, 2025. A veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader from Tamil Nadu, he previously served as the Governor of Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Telangana.

During his visit to Institute of Sindhology in Sindh of Pakistan, he called upon India and Pakistan to focus on universal peace, harmony and development of their people by curtailing defence budget on border tensions

He serves as the Official Spokesperson and Delhi Affairs In-Charge of the National BC Welfare Association, led by R. Krishnaiah. He is also the President of the Andhra Pradesh Goldsmiths Association and a former Director of the Andhra Pradesh BC Finance Corporation. Through these roles, he has been consistently working for the progress, welfare, and empowerment of the BC community in various capacities.
